An orangery can be designed with a substantial feel.  The roof can be supported by brick corners, or it can be constructed with structural timber to support the roof and then clad with beautiful columns and pilasters.  The detailing of the joinery can be anything from classically Georgian to very minimalist and contemporary, the choice is yours.
