Small profile range
These are made with a more delicate rafter section (40mm by 60mm) than the standard ranges, and they are ideal for sizes from 600mm to 1200mm in width, and any length.
This is an example of a lantern used as a link corridor.
Standard range
These are made with our 54mm by 70mm rafter section available from 1200mm by 1200mm, up to 6000mm by 2000mm.
Orangery range
We manufacture and supply glazed lanterns, which are built to the same specifications as we include in our complete orangery projects. These are ideal when you are using your own builder.
What is included in a lantern kit?
• All rafters, ridge, jacks, hips etc
• Base plate
• Fascia with draught seal
• Assembly plan (timber parts are numbered for quick identification)
• Aluminium glazing bars
• Two part moulding to neatly finish junction between plaster board and lantern base plate
• Ridge lead
• Glass double glazed units (safety glass)
• All fixing screws
Why are lanterns supplied as a kit?
Lanterns above 1200mm by 1500mm are too heavy and cumbersome to lift onto a roof. All of our lanterns are factory trial assembled, ready for easy site assembly. Two people will be able to assemble, fit and glaze a lantern in about a day.
